BTS Launch Video
In late 2024, after graduating from my Post-Production post-grad program at Humber College I began to freelance video edit. My first project was a collaboration with acclaimed chef, New York Times bestselling author, and executive producer and actor on The Bear, Matty Matheson for his new cookbook “Soups, Salads, Sandwiches”.

Working with a content producer on Matty’s team, I conceptualized and edited a behind-the-scenes video for his new cookbook “Soups, Salads, Sandwiches” to be used on his book tour and on social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
Utilizing footage shot on an iPhone throughout the making of the cookbook, we landed on a satirical documentary style that would balance Matty’s comedy with a “fly-on-the-wall” look at what goes on behind-the-scenes.
Everything in the video was cut, mixed and conceptualized by me with notes from Matty and his team.

The BTS video was originally going to be an exclusive to Matty’s book tour appearances; however, the team enjoyed the video so much that Matty decided to use it on his personal Instagram on the launch day of “Soups, Salads, Sandwiches” to his 2 million+ followers.
